Former Bears CB Has Announced his Retirement after Signing a 1-day Deal with his Original Team

As announced by the New York Giants, cornerback Prince Amukamara has signed a 1-day deal with the team to retire as a Giant:

Amukamara was drafted by the Giants in 2011 and stayed with the team until 2015.

In 2017, Amukamara signed with the Chicago Bears on a one-year, $7 million contract with a signing bonus of $3.5 million. He then spent 3 seasons with the team until being released for financial reasons.

Amukamara was a member of the Giants Super Bowl winning team in 2012, and will forever be remembered as a Giants legend. He finishes his career with 477 tackles, 80 pass deflections, 10 interceptions, and 6 forced fumbles.
