Former Bears Employee Now Hired as Head Coach for New Team

As revealed today, the Panthers have fired head coach Frank Reich. With the teams 1-10 record, the team decided that the best move is to fire their coach.

With this firing, the Panthers are naming special teams coordinator Chris Tabor as the interim head coach:

Tabor was apart of the Bears organization from 2008-2010 as the teams assistant special teams coach, and then again from 2018-2021 as the teams special teams coordinator.

He was then hired as the Panthers special teams coordinator ahead of the 2022 season, and now, he will be filling in as the head coach.
