Before becoming the Chiefs offensive coordinator, Matt Nagy served as the Bears head coach from 2018 until the beginning of 2022.

Though Nagy helped lead the Bears to two playoff appearances, his time in Chicago ended on a bad note, as he was fired following a disappointing 6-11 season.

Nagy was apart of the Bears when they drafted QB Justin Fields, and though the two only had one season together, Nagy still has fond memories of their time together.

In an interview last night for Super Bowl week, Nagy spoke about his time with Fields and the QB drama that is happening with the Bears currently:

As heard, Nagy believes for Fields to be a great player, and knows that he will succeed no matter where he is playing.

Nagy states that he is proud of Fields, and though his time in Chicago could be coming to an end, Nagy knows that Fields will continue to get better and better, even if it's with a new team.
