Former Bears LB Makes 6 Sacks in Team's Late Afternoon Victory, Bears Fans are Missing Him Dearly Right Now
Why is it that players get better after leaving Chicago?
During Sunday's matchup of Chargers vs Raiders, former Bears linebacker Khalil Mack put on a show, and ended his day with 6 sacks:
Mack's final stats from the day included 6 sacks, 5 tackles for losses, 4 QB hits, and 2 forced fumbles. Yup, you read that right. He did all that in just 1 game. The Chargers beat the Raiders 24-17, and Mack is one of the reasons for that.
The Bears traded for Mack back in 2018, and though he brought in a lot of success to the Bears, the team has nothing to show for it. Injuries played a cause for that, but the fit between the 2 fazed out after a few years.
The Bears then sent Mack to the Chargers in 2022, in exchange for 2 draft picks, who were then later used on Jaquan Brisker and Scott Matlock.
Bears fans are still sad about losing Mack, and seeing him ball out the way he did today makes it hurt a bit more, especially after the loss that the Bears had against the Broncos.
