Former Bears QB Shocks the NFL with Win over Undefeated Team

The Bears signed former XFL star QB PJ Walker to a two-year deal this past offseason.

Before the 2023 season began however, the Bears decided to release Walker from the team, as they wanted to keep QBs Nathan Peterman and Tyson Bagent as the backups.

Just a few days after being cut by the Bears, Walker was signed to the Browns practice squad. He was then added to the active roster after QB Deshaun Watson got injured.

Then, today, Walker was named as the starting QB for the Browns in week 6, and was set to take on the undefeated 49ers.

Walker was seeing the field for the first time this year, and was able to lead his team to a victory.

The Browns beat the 49ers 19-17. Walker did not have a great game, as he went 18/34, threw for 192 yards, along with 2 interceptions. But somehow, the Browns were able to end the day with a win:
