During a conversation about the possible future of Bears QB Justin Fields, former Bears QB Chase Daniel explains why the Bears should stick with him:
As heard in the clip, Daniel explains how even though the QB prospects this year look great, it will be hard to give up Fields, considering he has been balling out these past few weeks.
Daniel explains how Fields will be a starting QB no matter what next season, even if it's with a new team, He has the leadership and talent of being a starter, so even if he is not a Bear in 2024, he will most likely be a starter somewhere else.
Also, by the way Fields has looked, there is a big chance that he will only improve with time. If the Bears decide to put their team in the hands of a rookie, and he fails, while Fields balls out, then GM Ryan Poles will look very bad.
Daniel wants the Bears to stick with Fields. This team is already starting to look good, so if they add a few more missing pieces, then Fields can become a star.
