Former NFL Oline says Bears are following the how-to ruin a young QB script PERFECTLY so far.
Ross Tucker is a former offensive lineman and current sports broadcaster. He was also an All-Ivy League offensive lineman at Princeton University, then played seven seasons in the NFL for 6 different teams. He has appeared in 48 games and started 28 of them. Tucker currently writes an NFL column for The Athletic and is an NFL insider for Audacy. He also hosts many podcasts on his network including the Ross Tucker Football Podcast. Let's just say he is very involved in the NFL world.
However, he was not thrilled with the job the Bears organization has done so far in helping young QB Justin Fields. Here is a Tweet that Tucker sent out on Thursday:
-Get drafted by coach/GM on hot seat
-Change coaches and scheme after rookie year
-Bad offensive line
-Lack of weapons
Bears are following the "how to ruin a young QB" script PERFECTLY so far.
I'm not saying he is completely wrong and he is an idiot. However, I don't agree with that statement. NFL.com analyst Adam Rank shares the same opinion as me. He responded with a very abrupt: "I do not agree with this."
Only time will time, but I have a feeling that this new regime will do great things for Justin Fields. Patience, patience, patience...
