Former NFL Player Praises Chicago Bears' 2023 First-Round pick
As the season gets closer, and with training camp still going on, more and more players are starting to impress the media, including several of Bears players.
As tweeted by former NFL tight end, Clay Harbor, Bears rookie offensive tackle Darnell Wright showed potential of having a bright future:
Wright was drafted by the Bears as the 10th overall pick in the 2023 draft. He played college ball with the Tennessee Volunteers, where he was named to the 2019 SEC All-Freshman Team and the first-team All-SEC in 2022.
Scouts were highly impressed with Wright's performance during his college career, causing the Bears to use their first-round pick on him.
Already, the media and former players are noticing a spark in his game, and even with some ups-and-downs, Wright is still showing a lot of potential.
He is just a rookie, so mistakes are expected. He indeed does have a bright future, and Bears fans will be very happy with this pick.
