Former NFL Player Reveals his Thoughts on the new Bears Contract Extension for DT

Though most Bears fans have been waiting to hear about a Jaylon Johnson or Montez Sweat extension, we are also happy about a different name who will be staying.

On Thursday, it was announced that Bears defensive tackle Andrew Billings signed a two-year deal with the team that is worth over $8 million.

After this news came about, former NFL tight end Clay Harbor took to Twitter to share his thoughts:

Like many other Bears fans, Harbor is happy with this signing. Billings has been a solid player since arriving to Chicago this offseason. Though he isn't making the highlight reel, he is still getting the job done.

Billings has struggled in the past few seasons, but so far this year, he is looking his best yet. This is a good signing for a player who I believe will continue to improve.
