After starting the season 0-3, Bears fans are concerned for the future of their team. Some have given up on 3rd year QB Justin Fields, some are demanding to fire head coach Matt Eberflus, and some just feel like nothing will ever change and this team will continue to lose, no matter what.

Former NFL DE Chris Long spoke about the Bears issues while on "The Rich Eisen Show." Long explains how the Bears are simply a bad team, and a part of him feels bad for Fields, but also blames him a bit:

" I feel bad for Justin Fields, I do"
- Long said

Long then admits that he was on the Fields bandwagon originally, but is not sure if Fields can ever be that star. Long says:

"I don't know if he (Fields) can ever be the guy"

He also makes sure to blame the coaching, and reveals that they play a huge part in Fields' poor performances:

"He's not being coached well enough to feel like he can be aggressive"
- Long said

Long understands that this game is a business, and even though he feels bad for Fields, he understands that the team can't just wait around for him to improve, and they may need to move on.
