Netflix is releasing a new documentary titled: "Untold: Johnny Football." This documentary will be sharing the full story of the former NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel.
At one point in the past 10 years, Manziel was the biggest name in all of sports...while still in college. While in college, he was seen hanging out with huge celebrities like LeBron James and Drake, and attending night clubs every weekend. He was a Heisman Trophy winner and arguably the most exciting college player of all time. He was predicted to be an NFL superstar, but things didn't go as planned.
After being drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the first round of the 2014 NFL draft, only drama and controversies were headlining by his name. For example, in a preseason game in his rookie year, Manziel was fined for sticking up his middle finger. He then lost the starting job as QB for the first game of the season.
After this, more drama followed, where he found himself in domestic violence incidents, fighting with the police, partying too much, and substance abuse issues. The Browns released him after the 2015 season, and has not played in the NFL since.
After all the drama, Manziel was released by the Browns in 2016, business partners cut him, and agents threw him to the side. The world let go of Manziel, and so did he...
Now, Manziel is speaking out and talking about his life. In his new documentary, Manziel revealed that he planned on ending his life after being diagnosed with bipolar disorder, after going on a "$5 million bender." Manziel said:
Manziel explains how he wanted get as bad as possible, so that when he ended his life it would make sense to him. Manziel then explained that his g*n did not work, and that is why he is alive today.
This documentary shows what "really" happens behind closed doors, and hopefully people will learn the truth of Manziel. He has lived a hard life, and people need to give him a break.
