As revealed by NFL columnist Pat Leonard, Giants tight end Darren Waller could be missing several weeks with a hamstring injury:

During the Giants matchup against the Jets last Sunday, Waller left the game in the first half with an apparent injury. It was then announced that he would not return due to a right hamstring injury.

Now, while talking to the media, Waller expressed that he may be Out for several weeks to make sure his hamstring injury fully heals.

According to Leonard, Waller told the media that he does not want to return to the field until his body is fully healthy, so he will take as much time as needed.

The former pro bowler was traded to the Giants this past offseason, but so far, he has not been looking too good. There was a lot of hype surrounding this trade at first, but the hype has dimmed since the season started.

In 8 games played so far this season, Waller has a total of 36 receptions for 384 yards, along with only 1 touchdown.
