Game Recap: Is it Time for the Bears to Move on from WR Darnell Mooney?

Yikes.

After the Bears lost to a heartbreaking hail-mary drop, fans are angry with WR Darnell Mooney, and ready for the team to move on from him.

All game, much before the drop, he has looked sloppy. He is not blocking and showing low energy on the field. He finished the game with only 2 catches on 8 attempts, including the game losing drop.

Then, when it meant the most, and he would have been a hero, Mooney drops the game winner right out of his hands, which then lead for the Browns to intercept the ball and win.

After this brutal loss, fans took to Twitter, and furious with Mooney:

Mooney's rookie contract will be expiring once the 2023 season ends, and by the why his season has been looking, it is likely that the team will let him walk.

This game was absolutely heartbreaking for all Bears fans, and I don't think Mooney will ever earn their respect back.
