According to Hall Of Famer Warren Sapp, the Bears will select a Qb with the pick and trade their current franchise QB Justin Fields.
Sapp was on the Bret Boone podcast and dropped some information. He stated that the "word" out of Chicago is that the Bears want to trade Justin Fields in a package deal to acquire more picks or offensive weapons.
Then, the Bears will draft Bryce Young out of Alabama with the number one pick.
Sapp responded to the notion of the Chicago Bears getting Justin Fields some help on offense. He said the Bears should trade the most significant asset they have to acquire weapons and then draft someone more capable of throwing the football.
"What I'm hearing out of Chicago is they're fixing to package him up, trade him for some other pieces and then go with the Bryce kid from Alabama," Sapp said.
Sapp added: "There's smoke everywhere talking about them trading Justin Fields and going after Bryce."
