I know, I know you guys will say that pre-season does not matter and that it's a waste of time. However, you could not be more wrong. In fact, Preseason games provide prime opportunities for young, unproven players to show they belong in the NFL, and for some older veterans, the opportunity to show they can still get it done.
In the past, we use to see each team play 4 pre-season games. However, starting last season, the preseason schedule has been trimmed from four games to three games, which is a fine move in my mind.
You can see that one kind of major storyline will be the return of Matt Nagy to Chicago. After being fired by the Bears, Nagy joined Andy Reid in Kansas City, where he'll serve as the Chiefs quarterbacks coach.
