Here is why the Bears must sign Jarvis Landry
The Browns released WR Jarvis Landry yesterday.
With the WR market getting thinner and thinner and the Bears still on the look for a receiver, I believe they would be a match, made in heaven. On the field, Jarvis is still a great player. He has a great ability at getting open in big-time situations and he has some of the best hands in football.
However, the aspect I want to point out is his leadership. Landry is a true natural-born leader. He would be so great for the young receiver. I could hardly think of a better player suited to mentor young players (aka Darnell Mooney).
Take a look at this speech. While he uses bad language, the point he is making is very important and we don't see this type of leadership anymore in the NFL.
