in 2021 the Chicago Bears traded wideout Anthony Miller to the Houston Texans in exchange for a conditional 5th-round pick. Miller was not the impact player they hoped he would become as they had previously traded up in the draft to select the speedster out of Memphis.

The Bears traded down from the pick they got for sending Miller to Houston and drafted Braxton Jones and Trestan Ebner with those picks.

That's a good haul, especially since Jones is making a strong first impression. The Texans got 2 games out of Miller before cutting him.

Braxton Jones has been talked about as a potential starter at left tackle as a rookie and Ebner's speed alone will help him have an impact. The runningback should earn reps early on as a change of pace back and on special teams.

For now, this can be deemed as a good trade for the Bears but only the future will actually determine this.
