"The Jacksonville Jaguars shocked the NFL world two days ago when they released running back Leonard Fournette. While everybody waited 24hrs to see if he would be claimed on the waiver wire, speculation started to build about possible landing spots. The Chicago Bears came out on top of that list followed closely by the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It's not surprising that Fournette went unclaimed on waivers with the opportunity to sign to a new contract instead of picking up his current one. While Fournette is currently talking with various teams, it seems the Bears have dropped out of the race. Head coach Matt Nagy was asked about the possibility of adding Fournette and the Bears' head coach said the team is perfectly happy with the running back situation at the moment. Sounds like Fournette won't be coming to Chicago.
