It seems like every year there is a receiver that comes out that is big and fast. One year it was D.K. Metcalf. Then another year it was Chase Claypool. This year it is Christian Watson. Christian Watson had a mind-altering combine. He ran a 4.36, a 38.5 vertical jump, and a 136 broad jump. He is extremely explosive as if God created him with a ticking nuclear bomb in his limbs and he plays at his 4.36 speed.

What is the knock-on Christian Watson? His drop percentage.

I personally like him as a receiver and we must keep in mind that the offense that he was in was a run-first offense. This quote comes from The Fantasy Footballers, «Watson's hands aren't great, and it showed up on tape. To be fair, he did show improvement over the years. He had an abysmal 28% drop rate in 2020 but improved that to a 10% drop rate in 2021» We see that there was improvement each year which is a good sign. If Christian Watson can continue to improve his hands, mark my words he will be ONE of the best receivers from this class. He has the athleticism for it. He has NFL genes as his father played safety in the NFL. For this reason, he grew up with a comprehension of what it takes to be in the league. He also has good accelerations with his route tree. If the Bears can land Christian Watson in the second round, I believe that he will be an extremely good pick and could develop into our number one receiver!!

Take a look at some of his highlights.
