Jarvis Landry is looking for HOW MUCH?
It's no secret that the Bears are looking for any kind of help at the receiver position. They also have a lot of cap space currently. We have made the case a few times that Jarvis Landry could be perfect in a Bears' uniform.
However, recent reports came out and said what kind of deal he is looking for. He reportedly wants a deal that pays him $20 million annually. This is so much money. I believe there is no way that Ryan Poles offers him that kind of deal this off-season.
Hopefully for us, no teams do offer him that money and he decides to sign a shorter, cheaper deal because he would be so great with the Bears.
Landry is a natural-born leader. He has some of the most reliable hands in the league. While he may not be the best deep threat, he can make some crucial catches at any given time. Landry would compliment Mooney so well in Chicago. He is, in my mind, one of the best receivers on third-down situations. He is also probably the best run-blocking receiver in the league. He brings a physicality to the position that we truly don't see around the NFL nowadays. Those are all great reasons why Ryan Poles would be thrilled to have him on the squad. Landry is definitely a player that makes winning football plays on Sundays.
