"While Jimmy Graham's NFL career may be approaching its twilight, both the seasoned tight end and the New Orleans Saints are optimistic there's enough fire left for the upcoming season.

Graham, a third-round pick by the Saints in 2010, is returning to the fold after an eight-year hiatus, coming full circle back to the team where his stellar career kicked off. Despite his prime years being possibly behind him, the imposing 6-foot-7, 265-pounder has always been a formidable presence in the red zone, boasting six seasons with a minimum of eight touchdown receptions, including four with the Saints.

From 2011 to 2014, Graham's awe-inspiring performance, averaging 89 catches for 1,100 yards and 12 touchdowns, placed him among the all-time greats in the position. After his initial stint with the Saints, he played for Seattle, Green Bay, and Chicago for three, two, and two seasons respectively before taking a break in 2022. However, none of these tenures quite lived up to his iconic five-year spell in New Orleans, where the former University of Miami basketball player turned footballer evolved into one of the NFL's most feared assets.

In his time with the Saints, Graham amassed 386 catches for 4,752 yards and 51 receiving touchdowns, placing him sixth in both catches and yards and second in touchdowns in the Saints' franchise history. He clinched All-Pro accolades twice and was thrice nominated to the Pro Bowl. His seven seasons away from New Orleans saw him secure 327 catches for 3,754 yards and 34 touchdowns, along with two more Pro Bowl nods.

Graham, who led the NFL with 16 touchdown catches in 2013, ranks fourth in all-time touchdown receptions among NFL tight ends, with 85, trailing Antonio Gates (116), Tony Gonzalez (111), and Rob Gronkowski (93).

Now, at 36, Graham is set to infuse new life into the Saints' tight end room, which includes Juwan Johnson, Taysom Hill, and Foster Moreau."
