More than eight years have passed since Johnny Manziel last graced an NFL field, yet recent activity on social media suggests he may still harbor hopes of a potential comeback.

Taking to Twitter, Manziel shared a thought-provoking message, asserting that one isn't deemed an NFL draft "bust" until they officially retire. Concluding with the phrase, "Do with that as you wish," the post has ignited speculation regarding his intentions.

Following his release from the Cleveland Browns in the 2016 offseason, Manziel embarked on a tumultuous journey, including brief stints in the CFL and the now-defunct Alliance of American Football league until its closure in 2019.

As the 2012 Heisman Trophy winner, Manziel was once hailed as a promising prospect ahead of the 2014 NFL Draft. However, his tenure with the Browns was marred by inconsistent performance and off-field controversies, leading to his departure after just two seasons.

During his time in Cleveland, Manziel started eight games, tallying a record of 2-6-0. He completed 57.0 percent of his pass attempts for 1,675 yards, throwing seven touchdowns and interceptions alike.
