Fields and Pickens both started their collegial career at the University of Georgia. However, they did not play together because Fields transferred to Ohio State after one season.
Pickens is a very intriguing prospect. Talent-wise, he might be at the top of the class. But, he has not been able to showcase his skills on the field a lot in college. He was injured for a huge part of his career, including an ACL injury last season.
He seems to be in perfect shape at the moment and he could be a steal in the second or third round in this year's draft.
Could Justin Fields put some pressure on Ryan Poles to acquire Pickens? Who knows...
