It's sometimes hard to fathom just how much money the NFL players are making nowadays...

Well, here is another example. Daniel Greenberg reported that Bears' QB Justin Fields received a $692,816 bonus just for being present at this year's training camp.

Not too bad, not too bad.

Let me remind you that Justin Fields signed a 4 year, $18,871,957 contract with the Chicago Bears, including a $11,085,060 signing bonus, $18,871,957 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $4,717,989. In 2022, Fields will earn a base salary of $825,000 and a roster bonus of $692,816, while carrying a cap hit of $4,289,081 and a dead cap value of $15,440,691.

While this seems like a lot of money, this is nothing compared to what quarterbacks are earning on their second and third contracts. Hoppefully, Fields performs well and the Bears will be forced to give him a huge contract. That would be a great problem to have down the road!
