Justin Fields Reveals the Teams Motivation Going into TNF, Talks about Bears Legend Dick Butkus (Video)
It was a sad day in the NFL world on Thursday, as it was announced that Pro Football Hall of Famer and Bears legend Dick Butkus passed away, at the age of 80.
The news came shortly before the Bears took on the Commanders for the TNF matchup.
The Bears ended up beating the Commanders 40-20, which was also the Bears first win of the season.
After the impressive win, Bears QB Justin Fields spoke to the NFL on Prime crew and talked about how himself and the team played for Butkus:
"We played for him tonight, so this one's for him tonight"
-Fields said in regard to ButkusThe Bears lost someone very special to their franchise, and this team made sure to play their hardest for him.
