Justin Fields speaks on his great game, multiple designed QB runs
Bears' QB Justin Fields played his best game of the young season of far, and maybe of his career. Luke Getsy put out a great plan for his offense, and it was perfectly executed by his players. They finally figured out how to put Fields in a position to win. Much like the Giants with Daniel Jones, Chicago allowed its young QB to use his legs, and the QB did his part, showcasing extra effort and elite vision on designed carries to lead a rushing attack that also featured great plays from David Montgomery and Khalil Herbert.
Fields threw for 179 yards and a touchdown and ran for 82 yards and another score on Monday night, converting five third downs with his legs and five more with his arm to lead Chicago to a 33-14 victory over the New England Patriots.
Here is what Fields had to say following the game.
