The Chicago Bears are rolling through training camp and thankfully have looked good so far with no serious injury scares. Since his arrival, Khalil Mack has easily become one of the team's leaders and top players. Unfortunately like the team, things didn't exactly go as planned last year and Mack isn't hiding from his numbers last year. «I wasn't good enough,» Mack said, via Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune. «Wasn't good enough at all. Understanding that, there are different intangibles that came with it. I don't make any excuses. I just rise to the occasion and I am getting ready for this one. It's going to be a fun one, man, I can't wait.» «The expectations that I have for myself, I definitely didn't reach last year. So knowing that, I know I'm supposed to pass whatever the expectations were last year for myself, and it's a challenge to myself. And only I can challenge myself and only I can tell myself what it was that I expected from myself. So at the end of the day, it's just that type of mindset: challenging myself every week to get better, and that's all you can really live by.»«I know what I'm capable of,» Mack said. «I can't wait to get out there with my teammates and make plays and give oohs and aahs to the TV crowd. And all that that brings, it brings me joy. I love this game. It's fun. I don't stress over this game. But I love it and I just can't wait to get out there with my guys.»Are you ready for angry Mack with a chip on his shoulder?
