Kyler Gordon HAS COMPARISONS to this HALL OF FAME WIDE RECEIVER
Defensive Rookie of The Years? Can Kyler win this? In short, I believe he can.
He has all of the physical tools, the athletic ability, and the intellectual ability. If you have seen his highlights including minicamp, you will notice that he is flexible to the point of making interceptions that many others cannot make. I believe that he is going to be an interesting player to watch. My belief is this. He on one side and Jaylen Johnson on the other will give offenses problems. Not to mention J.B. and E.J on the back end. This in itself will make it easier for Kyler Gordon to operate especially as a rookie and the number one receivers going to Jaylen Johnson.
I also want to make this statement about his flexibility. He reminds me of another player, a hall of famer. This player wasn't a cornerback. This player was a wide receiver. His name is Lynn Swann.
Just like Swann, Gordon took dancing (ballet). Both players have made some interesting catches in ways that many cannot do. These two can contort their bodies in ways that many human beings cannot. Am I saying that he will be as good as Lynn Swann at the cornerback position? He could be, we don't know yet. If he is half of what he was, but as a cornerback/ballhawk... it would mean well for the Bears. Here, enjoy some Kyler Gordon highlights.
