Looking at Bears Draft Gems and Busts over recent years

The NFL Draft is just over two weeks away, and with the Bears in what appears to be a transitional year, finding young star-studded players to build the roster with is more important than ever. With Ryan Poles as the new general manager, it will be interesting to see his approach in the drafts. Former General Manager Ryan Pace had his fair share of misses in early rounds, however he actually seemed to draft quite well in some of the later rounds in most of the drafts. It is important to see that the Bears have drafted fairly well in later rounds, over the past few years, which can be a beacon of hope for this years draft. Here are some recent Bears hits and misses over the years with what round they were drafted in. Keep in mind that the 2021 and 2020 evaluations may be to soon to know for sure. While some of the 2021 and 2020 picks may be listed as misses, they have the chance to turn their careers around with the new regime.
