Teague was always part of extremely talented running back rooms that includes J.K Dobbins, Trey Sermon and most recently, TreVeyon Henderson. This means that he was never able to showcase his full potential as the workhorse back. But, he has still shown enough to impress NFL scouts.
However, Teague was waived by the Bears earlier this week.
To be frank, I was a little surprised. While I did not expect Teague to be a starter in year 1, I thought he may have an outside shot at making the roster or at least being on the practice squad in September. I wish him the best of luck on his football journey and I fully expect him to have another chance at making an NFL team in the future!
