Throughout training camp, the Bears experimented with a number of different offensive line combinations with the only surefire starter being guard Cody Whitehair.

However, in the past few days or so, we have seen a few players getting pretty much every starter's reps like Braxton Jones.

Actually, the left side of the offensive line is pretty much a sure thing. We can assume that Braxton Jones will be at LT, Whitehair at LG and Lucas Patrick should be back prior to Week 1 and start at Center. The right side of the line is not the same story...

For the last week, it's been Teven Jenkins and Larry Borom at right guard and right tackle. However, we have also seen players like Sam Mustiphier, Riley Reiff, and Michael Schofield taking some reps.

Here is what HC Matt Eberflus said on the subject:

«We're still in that evaluation mode with the offensive line,» Eberflus said. «We're still looking at a lot of guys. We're still looking at the combinations. I know we're kind of solidified as of late, the recent one that's been out there. But this thing is still open. So everybody's got to put their best foot forward. They've got to perform this Saturday. They've got to get it done on the field.»

One thing is for sure, Saturday's game will be extremely crucial for all of these players trying to earn either a roster spot or a starting spot.
