MOCK DRAFT: Bleacher Report has Caleb Williams Falling, but has the Bears Selecting a Quarterback
With college football now officially over for the season, most of these players are now getting ready for the NFL draft
In a new mock draft from Bleacher Report, they have predicted that the Bears keep the number 1 overall pick and draft a QB, but his name is NOT Caleb Williams:

In this mock, it shows that the Bears will select North Carolina QB Drake Maye.
In his 1st year as a starter in 2022, Maye threw for 4,321 passing yards along with 38 touchdowns and 7 interceptions. He was also named as the ACC Player of the Year, ACC Offensive Player of the Year, ACC Rookie of the Year, and First-team All-ACC.
And now, Maye just completed his 2nd year as the starting QB, finishing the season with 3,608 passing yards along with 24 touchdowns and 9 interceptions. He was also named to the Second-team All-ACC.
Though there was a bit of a dip in this past season, Maye is still considered to be one of the best prospects for this upcoming draft, and according to Bleacher Report, he is the best one.
Standing at 6 foot 4 and weighing 230 pounds, Maye is a QB who is hard to stop. He can break out of tackles with his toughness and speed, and certainly has the arm strength any team would want.
