The Chicago Bears have easily had one of the worst offenses to start the season in the NFL and some wonder how they've even won games. While their run game has been respectable and actually ranks in the top half of the league, their passing offense has been pathetic and sits dead last. No fault of quarterback Justin Fields, as the coaching staff just haven't let him throw the ball at all. It's frustrating and it's felt in the locker room.Wide receiver Darnell Mooney who's been one of Fields' favorite targets when he's actually been allowed to throw the ball spoke about that frustration. "Just not being able to do your job is a little frustrating, especially when you work hard and you want to be able to do great things," Mooney said. "I think it's just having an understanding that it's a process, and just understanding that you gotta continue to move forward, you can't look back and just think about the past things that's happened. You just gotta think about the future and speak things into existence and continue to work, and things will happen, as long as you're working good, working hard, and working ethical."
Mooney believes things will change though. "Things are going to eventually pop, and when it does, it's going to be extremely fun," Mooney said. "Right now, it's just trying to get everything on the same page, and like I said, it's a process, and we'll get there."
What do you think of Mooney's comments?
