On Friday, Netflix strongly implied that it has a documentary on former Texas A&M and Cleveland Browns QB Johnny Manziel in the works.

In response to someone tweeting their belief that Manziel's appearance in the recent Untold: The Girlfriend Who Didn't Exist documentary on former Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o was a nod to a future Manziel documentary, Netflix tweeted the following video of Johnny Football preparing for a sit-down interview:

Manziel has a layered background worthy of a full-length documentary, starting with his 2012 Heisman Trophy season. Manziel collected an SEC-record 4,600 yards of total offense on his way to becoming the first freshman to win the Heisman Trophy.

Manziel then passed for 3,419 yards and 24 touchdowns and added 1,181 yards rushing yards with 19 TDs rushing. The memorable game in his Heisman resume came when he led the Aggies to a 29-24 upset of No. 1 Alabama in Tuscaloosa when he had 345 yards of total offense and several highlight-reel plays.

He then had a troubled pro career that started with the Cleveland Browns, who selected him at No. 22 in the 2014 NFL Draft.

Manziel in his career made obscene gestures on the field, faced questions about his immaturity and lack of commitment, made a visit to rehab, and reports surfaced of partying in Las Vegas amid supposed concussion recovery, as his NFL career ended after only 2 seasons. He started 8 games for the Browns and went 2-6 with 7 touchdown passes and 7 interceptions in 2014 and 2015.

This documentary will be something special!
