In 36 games he threw for 8,396 yards, 64 touchdowns, and 25 interceptions. Against Central Michigan and Western Michigan, he went for 8 touchdowns and 1 interception.
At 6 foot 2 with a laser arm and good field intelligence, he could give Ryan Willis a run for his money in training camp.
He will need some coaching on his accuracy and decision making but what rookie doesn't? He stays consistent on short to medium throws, while his long balls can be a bit erratic that's nothing a little NFL coaching can't tweak.
Whether he makes the team or not is anybody's guess but with fellow undrafted QBs like Tony Romo and Kurt Warner, he could be another star in the making. He will also be trying out for the Colts, so here's hoping we get him because my grudge from 06 will forever remain.
