In his ESPN article, Clay wrote about who the 2023 versions of last year's breakout fantasy football stars are this year. When looking at some players who earned some amazing numbers in last year's fantasy football, Jalen Hurts comes to mind.
Last season alone, Hurts threw for 22 touchdowns with only 6 interceptions, along with 13 rushing TDs. He was one of the best in the game, and was one of fantasy's top-scoring QBs. His season last year has changed the way football fans view him, and now there are predictions that Fields will have a similar year.
Like Hurts last season, Fields is entering his 3rd year, which is when a lot of QBs start figuring out the system. As stated by Clay:
Fields has already shown signs of being an elite QB, but this season will prove it. Not only has he gained the knowledge from the past 2 seasons, but he is also going into 2023 with a great new WR, DJ Moore. Now, Fields has new weapons, and actually has a chance of showing his true quality.
Fantasy owners, you do not want to miss out on drafting Fields!
