Claypool has been ruled as a healthy scratch for 2 games in a row, and will be missing tomorrow nights primetime game. The Bears are looking to trade him, but some execs are not sure the Bears will get anything in return.
As revealed by ESPN's Jeremy Fowler in a new article, an unnamed NFL executive believes that Claypool will no longe be a Bear shortly, but instead of being traded, he will be released:
It seems like most teams are not interested in Claypool, as he has been named as a "diva" several times. He does not get along well with teammates and coaches, and simply is not a good team player. He also looks lazy on the field and is not playing well at all.
His locker room presence will end up being one of the reasons why teams don't want him, so the Bears will most likely release him shortly, even with nothing in return.
