In an article written by ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, he reveals how NFL executives, scouts, and team figures spoke to ESPN this past week to predict NFL offseason moves:

ESPN - Jeremy Fowler

In the article, it was revealed that an unnamed NFL exec predicts that the Chicago Bears will pursue 49ers pass rusher Chase Young this offseason in hopes of signing him to the team.

Earlier during this season, there were several rumors around the Bears trading for Young, who was then on the Commanders, but when deadline did arrive, the Bears traded for Young's teammate; fellow pass rusher Montez Sweat.

With the Bears trading for Sweat, Young found himself being traded to the 49ers. Though the Bears signed Sweat to a long-term deal, Young has not signed an on extension with the 49ers, and will likely be leaving this offseason.

This unnamed exec believes that the Bears will pursue Young due to their solid cap space, meaning they will be able to afford his needs, along with wanting to reunite two former teammates.
