The list of ridiculous calls just piles on as the weeks go by. One would think with all the backlash they received earlier, the NFL and the referees would mend their ways.

One play, in particular, caught the attention of fans. It happened when Bengals' QB Joe Burrow was taken down by a horse-collar tackle. Indeed, it had viewers everywhere wondering how the refs could possibly miss that penaltyuntil we were all informed that it is not, in fact, a penalty.

As NBC Rules Analyst Terry McAuley quickly pointed out, a horse-collar penalty does not apply to quarterbacks when they are in the pocket.
