Multiple reports have Fox ready to be handed a pink slip and Fox already to have accepted his fate. Former Giants general manager Ernie Accorsi was a consultant three years ago when the Bears hired Fox despite Ryan Pace having no prior experience with him. This time it's more than likely Pace will have a much bigger role in being able to select the Bears 16th head coach in team history. Pro Football Weekly recently published an updated list of potential candidates.
