NFL referee passes away

Tom Pelissero announced that NFL referee and game official Wayne Mackie has died at age 62. It has been reported that he died suddenly last night.

Mackie was known and loved as one of the most genuine and loved men in football. He also served as head linesman for Super Bowl 50.

Sad day for the NFL as we have lost a great man who has devoted his life to the sport we all care about and love.
