As seen in the tweet, Carman's first takeaway was about how WR Chase Claypool had an amazing catching day and was able to get open quite a bit. This comes as a huge positive for the team, as Claypool has been lacking performance wise, ever since arriving to Chicago. If Claypool can showcase improvement during camp, then we should be expecting a better year from him.
Carman's second takeaway was rookie about WR Tyler Scott, and how impressive his speed is looking. Before entering the NFL, Scott ran a 4.39 40-yard dash at his pro day, impressing scouts all around. His speed is one of the main reasons why the Bears need him, and if he can continue to show off his speed and catch the ball too, then he can be a real threat in the NFL.
And lastly, Carman noted how the new addition to the Bears, DE Demarcus Walker, has been vocal on the field. Walker recently signed with the Bears this offseason, with a three-year, $21 million contract. He is entering his 7th year in the NFL, and is making sure his presence is noted.
These takeaways are all positive ones that can only mean that the Bears have a bright season ahead of them!
