«Odell's going to join us,» Cowboys owner Jerry Jones told USA TODAY Sports on Thursday. «There's a good chance he will, with the complete goal of getting ready for a playoff game or two, and then I'll look to the future. But most of it is about now.»
Jones didn't reveal financial details but said he expects that the star wide receiver coming off ACL surgery after being injured in Super Bowl 56 for the Los Angeles Rams -- will be signed to a contract for the rest of this season.
It appears as though Odell Beckham Jr. caught wind of those comments. And he has issued his response to them via Twitter.
It's really difficult to determine what OBJ is trying to tell his fans here, though it's not surprising since it's not the first time he made a cryptic tweet with regard to his free agency.
The good thing, however, is Beckham has a chance to return as Jones said. There have been reports that he could possibly sit out the rest of the campaign and just return in 2023, however.
