New England fan Jerry Edmond was taking in his first NFL game this weekend but didn't get the warmest welcome at Allegiant Stadium.

Well, for Week 16 at Gillette Stadium, Robert Kraft hoped to make his second Patriots game a better experience.

Following the shocking final play of New England's loss to the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, Edmond couldn't believe what he'd just seen on the field. Adding insult to injury, an unruly fan in a Derek Carr jersey decided to rub the loss in his face aggressively.

Here is the clip in question:

Kraft rewarded Edmond Saturday for his classy non-reaction in Las Vegas.

'I tell you, what you did was so classy, and you represent what our franchise is about: building bridges,' Kraft told Edmond in a video posted on the team's Twitter account.

Edmond received a personalized jersey from Kraft, who invited him and his friends to sit in the owner's box.
