Well, here we are, following week four we sit at 2-2. I can't say this isn't how I see the season going. Win 1, lose 2, repeat. They told us ahead of time this is a rebuilding season and as much as we want to fight it, it's still something we need to keep in mind to temper our expectations. With that spirit here are a few players I'm not so sure we will see on the roster next season.

Sam Mustipher

The Sam experiment should have probably been over this week. Granted Lucas Patrick started, but he needs to move over to center at this point. He was bullied by the Giants and doesn't seem to consider Feilds in his movements. We need another Olin and fast to keep Fields safe.

Cole Kmet

The receiver you want to love but can't help but be frustrated by. Kmet is a local boy which makes me like home from the start, but in his third season, his productivity and explosiveness just aren't there. He isn't making anything happen, gets beat in coverage, and just isn't impressive as a whole. I expect a big reboot of our WR corp next season.

Angelo Blackson

With the worst run defense in the NFL, allowing 260 yards against the Giants. The defensive end is not getting it done this year. Blackson is letting down the team getting burned play after play. I'd be surprised if he isn't benched soon.

Justin Fields

With Getsy under fire for his play calling, I'm not going to call it on Fields just yet but boy oh boy is he goofing up this season. Of the low amount of passes he's allowed to take his completion rate is barely 50 percent. He's gotten sacked 51 times in 16 career games. I understand the issues with the line but my boy has not adjusted well. The Bears aren't well known for their patience with developing QBs so we will see what happens the rest of the year.
