Byron Pringle is a walking example of resilience, at the age of 16, Pringle was arrested for a series of crimes including grand theft, burglary and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and missed his junior year of high school. Originally this coat Pringle a scholarship opportunity as he went on to play at Butler Community College in Kansas before being offered a scholarship at Kansas State. Pringle fought from being an undrafted free agent, to special team's ace to becoming a part of the Chiefs offense and winning a Super Bowl.
That's not it on in this free-agent class. Nicholas Morrow played Division 3 football where he went on to sign a rookie deal with the Raiders and even earned a starting position. Recently signed DB Tavon Young has battled numerous season-ending injuries, despite those Young has bounced back multiple times and has been one of the better slot corners in the league when on the field. Al-Quadin Muhammad was a 6th round pick that over the years with the Colts worked his tail off earning significant playing time and a strong role in Eberflus' defense. Lastly, offensive lineman Lucas Patrick went from undrafted FA, practice squad, backup into his starting role he played over the last 2 seasons and is expected to position himself with the Chicago Bears.
