Projected First-Overall Pick QB Disappoints in Nail-Biter Game

USC's QB Caleb Williams is currently considered as the top prospect for the 2024 NFL draft. He is projected to go first-overall, and every football fan is keeping an eye on him.

Williams has been having a great season before Saturdays matchup, as in 7 games, he was 142/203, threw for 2,021 yards, 23 touchdowns, and only 4 interceptions, with a 6-1 record.

Unfortunately, Saturday's matchup against Utah ended in a loss for USC, where Williams did not perform to expectation.

Williams went 24/34, 256 yards, and 0 touchdowns. Williams also fumbled the ball, which viewers pointed out:

For most, this is a solid performance, but for the hype Williams has been getting, this is a disappointment. For his level of confidence, he should be performing like the best QB in college, and this game certainly was not that.
