As you can see, the Chicago Bears have the least expensive offense in the entire NFL. We have been hearing everywhere in the media that QB Justin Fields does not have a lot of help around him and this is just another example of it.
I would, however, have to add that this stat may be a little flawed since Fields' contract is so little. Because he is still in his rookie contract, he does not have the same type of cap hit as most QBs in the league.
I completely understand the game plan of being careful in free agency by GM Ryan Poles, but I would still love for him to sign a few more quality players prior to training camp.
