Report: Akiem Hicks Expected To Be Traded In Next 48hrs.

"It's been a really weird offseason for the Chicago Bears and their fans to say the least. We saw the Bears and general manager Ryan Pace come close to landing Russell Wilson before Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll axed the deal. Then we saw Pace go silent during free agency with quarterback Andy Dalton being the only significant addition to the team's roster. However we've seen some significant names leave Chicago over the last week including Mitch Trubisky and Kyle Fuller and they might not even be the biggest. Fan favourite Akiem Hicks is now on his way out too. According to Bears' insider Brad Biggs, Hicks has been given permission to seek a trade over the next day or two or will likely face the same scenario as Fuller and be released. Despite some injuries, Hicks has been a key factor for the Bears and their defense over the last couple of years however his time in Chicago has come to an end.
