Report: Bears CB Jaylon Johnson Eyeing a Big Deal with Contract Extension Discussions
During an interview on the radio show Parkins & Spiegel Show, Bears CB Jaylon Johnson spoke about a contract extension:
Johnson told the guys that he and his management have been working on an extension contract with the Bears.
With the trade deadline approaching, there have been lots of talk on the Bears possibly trading Johnson away.
Johnson has made it clear that he wants to stay in Chicago, so by signing a new deal, that will secure him a spot.
In Sunday's game during week 7, Johnson made 2 interceptions, one of which was a pick-6. We are already seeing star quality in the young CB.
Johnson is only 24 years old and is slowly becoming one of the best defensive backs in the NFL. He will continue to get even better, and is not someone we want to see in another jersey.
Bears, please extend him!
